Radius

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 10, 2026

These terms govern your use of Radius, including the public-safety map, free saved place, weekly reports, Radius Plus, email delivery, and optional SMS alerts.

Operator

Radius is an independently operated service. Radius is the service name and the SMS sender name shown to users.

Informational service only

Radius is an awareness tool. It is not an emergency service, official dispatch system, security service, or substitute for calling 911 or following instructions from public-safety officials.

Incident data and availability

Incident information may be delayed, incomplete, approximate, inaccurate, filtered, or unavailable. Sources may fail, locations may be block-level or area-level, automated summaries may contain errors, and Radius does not guarantee that every incident will appear or that any alert will be delivered.

Free service and Radius Plus

The free service currently includes map access, a 24-hour address report, and one saved place with in-app notices when Radius is open. Radius Plus currently adds email alerts, optional SMS, up to three saved places, custom settings, and 48-hour and 72-hour history. Features and limits may change as the service evolves.

Trial, billing, and cancellation

Radius Plus includes a 14-day free trial when offered at checkout. Unless canceled before the trial ends, subscriptions automatically renew at the selected price, currently $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year, plus any applicable tax. Paid subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy. You may cancel from Places & alerts or an available Lemon Squeezy billing link. Cancellation stops future renewals; access generally continues through the current trial or paid period unless the provider or law requires otherwise.

Optional SMS alerts

SMS is configured separately after Radius Plus activation. A user may keep email only, and SMS consent is not required to purchase or use Radius Plus. Replying STOP disables SMS but does not cancel Radius Plus or email alerts. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See the SMS opt-in details.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for access to your email and devices, for keeping sign-in links private, and for providing accurate saved-place and delivery information. Notify Radius if you believe your profile or subscription has been accessed without permission.

Acceptable use

You may not abuse or disrupt the service, evade access controls, reverse engineer private endpoints, scrape in a way that harms availability, or use incident information to harass, stalk, discriminate, identify private individuals, interfere with emergency response, or cause harm.

Limitation of liability

Radius is provided as-is and as-available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Radius is not liable for missed or delayed alerts, inaccurate data, source failures, service outages, or decisions made based on incident information.

Changes

Radius may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
